Damit der NAC E-Mails an den Benutzer versenden kann, wird ein Mail Server mit einem Postfach für den NAC benötigt. Dabei ist es egal, ob dieser sich extern oder intern befindet.<br />

*Rufen Sie in Ihren Webbrowser das Administrations Portal der NAC auf, und melden sich dort an.<br />
*Gehen Sie auf "Konfiguration => Externe Dienste => E-Mail" und fügen ein neues E-Mail Konto hinzu.<br />
*Füllen Sie alle Felder aus und klicken Sie auf "Bestätigen"<br />

*Wechseln Sie auf "Administration => Profil" und fügen ein neues Benutzerprofil für die E-Mail Authentifizierung hinzu.<br />
*Für die E-Mail Authentifizierung werden mindestens zwei Profile benötigt. Eins für den Benutzer selbst und das zweite für den temporären Zugriff zum Internet um das Postfach abzurufen.<br />

Damit der NAC auf dem Captive Portal die E-Mail Authentifizierung anbietet, muss die Portal Konfiguration noch angepasst werden.<br />

*Rufen Sie die Captive Portal Konfiguration auf (Konfiguration => Personalisierung => Portal => Konfiguration)<br />
*Editieren Sie eine vorhandene oder legen Sie eine neue Konfiguration an<br />
*Unter "Anmeldung" fügen E-Mail als Modus hinzu<br />
*Wählen Sie das E-Mail Konto und das Benutzerprofil für die E-Mail Benutzer aus<br />
*Zusätzlich müssen Sie hier ein temporäres Profil auswählen, damit der Benutzer seine E-Mails abrufen kann.<br />

Auf dem Captive Portal besteht nun die Möglichkeit, sich die Login Daten an eine E-Mail Adresse schicken zu lassen<br />
Nach absenden der E-Mail, bekommt der Benutzer mit seinem Endgerät, einen temporären offenen Zugang um sein Postfach abzurufen. Welche Dienste und die Dauer des Zugangs wird im E-Mail Profil definiert.<br />
