| Authentifizierungsausnahmen werden oft in Verbindung mit Virenscannern oder anderen Programmen benötigt, die keine NTLM-Authentifizierung unterstützen. Damit diese Programme trotz dessen ins Internet kommunizieren können, muss im Proxy definiert werden, dass die angesurfte URL auch ohne vorherige Authentifizierung aufgerufen werden darf.
