Introduction

In order to access the UMA's own archived emails, it is necessary to log in to the user interface.

User interface login

In the address line of a web browser, either the host name/URL or the IP address of the UMA is entered using the HTTPS protocol.

notempty The host name or IP address of the UMA must be provided by the administrator.

The login area opens. There you can log in as User, or as Auditor and Data Protection Officer.

Value	Description
Username	The name of the user account
Password	The password of the user account
Log in	Logging in to the user interface is done by clicking this button after correctly entering all login credentials.
Log in with Microsoft Azure (SSO/MFA)	Alternatively, log in to the user interface via Microsoft Azure. A separate window will open for this purpose. This requires an Azure connection to be present.

User interface

After successful login to the user interface, the Email tab is activated by default. All emails of the user account will be displayed.
The emails can be viewed in different categories: Show: All Show: Sent Show: Received
In the Text tab, only the emails that consist of text only are displayed.
The Documents tab displays the (attached) documents of the emails.
The Show file details button displays the document details and the Hide file details button hides them. The Any Size button can be used to filter through the size of the documents.
The Images tab displays the images of the emails.
The Show file details button displays the image details and the Hide file details button hides them. The Any Size button can be used to filter through the size of the images.
Everything is displayed in the All tab. Emails, documents and images.
For all tabs, the sort function is available as a button Sorted by: Date (descending) (default setting) is available. Various filters are available for selection.

Search

Caption	Description
Search text ...	The search term is saved in the Search history. No distinction is made between upper and lower case (case-insensitive) When entering multiple strings without a corresponding operation specification, the default is an OR operation. The use of quotation marks " " searches for exactly the specified character string.
Categories	The category in which to search is saved in the Search history.
	Clicking on the button starts the search

Tools

The following menu items are available.

With the row is deleted and with another row is added.
Search now	Stars the search function
Reset	Resets all settings
Close	Closes the window

Categories:		The file categories can be entered
Keywords		A description may be added
Files:	Browse...	The files to be uploaded are selected

File name		File name of the document
Link		The document link
Shared until		The time frame of sharing the document
Delete after download		Indicates whether the document will be deleted after downloading

Tools - Settings Tools - Settings
Hide duplicate search results		When enabled, duplicate search results are hidden
Automatically add placeholders to search words		When enabled, placeholders are automatically added to search words
Calculate exact number of pages		When enabled, the exact number of pages is calculated
Open Debugging log		When enabled, the debugging log window is opened

Options

The button for options is shown when hovering over an email.

Caption	Description
Show email	The email is displayed
Download email	Downloads the email. More information can be found in the Mailexport Wiki article.
Favor results of this type	The email is listed in the Relevance menu item
Edit attributes	A window opens in which the Categories and Keywords can be entered.

Set language

New: v3.3.4

A URL parameter can be used to specify the language of the UMA userinterface.

For German: ?lang=de
For English: ?lang=en

If the language is to be changed to English, https://192.168.175.254/?lang=en is entered as the URL.
