Introduction
The administrator interface of the UMA automatically adopts the language setting of the browser used.
The displayed language of the administrator interface of the UMA can be set to German or English. There are two different options to set this.
Set language
Option 1: Browser
The language of the administrator interface of the UMA is automatically determined based on the settings of the used browser for the desired language of web pages.
- Google Chrome
- top right three-point menu → Settings → Languages → click on the three-dot menu next to the language you want, or click on Add language → Move to the beginning click → Restart Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- top right Settings and more → Settings → left Languages → click on Add language or click on Show Microsoft Edge in this language in the three-point menu for the desired language
- Firefox
- top right menu button → Settings → General → Section Language and Appearance Paragraph Language click on Select → set desired language to the top → click on Ok → Restart Firefox
- Safari
- Mac Menu Apple' → System settings → General → Language & Region → Programs then select Select language for an app or Change language for an app in the list → choose language
Option 2: URL parameter

A URL parameter can be used to specify the language of the UMA administrator interface.
- For German: ?lang=de
- For English: ?lang=en
If the language is to be changed to English, https://192.168.175.254:11115/?lang=en is entered as the URL.
