Computer mit dem Securepoint Unified Backup Portal verbinden und Backup-Jobs verwalten

Vorbemerkung

Im Menü Computer werden alle verwalteten Computer einer Site angezeigt,die Backup-Jobs konfigueriert, die Verbindung zum Vault hinterlegt sowie Aufbewahrungstypen und Benachrichtigungen konfiguriert.

Neue Computer werden in der Übersicht im Menü Computer mit dem Status Nicht konfiguriert angezeigt.
Konfiguration mit Klick auf den Eintrag und anschließend auf die Schaltfläche Manuell konfigurieren

Vault-Einstellungen

Vault-Einstellungen
 Vault hinzufügen Backups und Konfigurationseinstellungen werden in einem Vault (Datentresor) gespeichert. Für jedwede Konfiguration ist daher die Verbindung mit einem Vault erforderlich. Dazu muss ein Vault hinzugefügt werden. SUB v1 Computer Vault hinzufügen.png

  • The entry must be unique. If necessary, changes can be made to the profile entry by selecting a Vault profile field with a blank entry    .
    The defaults from the previously selected profile are retained, but can now be edited.
  •   Save Saves the data and closes the window

    There are three predefined storage types

    Online storage (days) 365 Number of days a safe set is kept asa minimum
    Online duplicates 11 Number of safe sets kept as a minimum
    Delete storage type
     Create storage type Opens a window for creating a new storage type

    Backup storage 365 Minimum period of storage of the safe sets in days.
    Number of backup copies to be kept 11 Minimum number of safe sets that are retained.
    The conditions for backup storage and for number of backup copies to be kept must both be met before a safe set is discarded!
    For example, if a computer is not used for two weeks in a month, the daily backups will remain up until 20 daily backup safe sets have been created - even if the oldest one is more then 40 days old at this point.

    Max. bandwidth Bandwidth limitation is especially recommended for weak connections and data backup during working hours.
