Since April 2019, SHA-2 Code Signing Support is required to receive operating system updates.
To ensure high security and integrity checking, Antivirus Pro uses the same SHA-2 standard that Microsoft Windows uses. The included hash algorithm provides cryptographic signing of data This enables the unique identification of the servers addressed by Antivirus Pro. Manipulations can thus be detected immediately. If Securepoint Antivirus Pro cannot establish an encrypted connection to the update and license servers, data decryption and identification are not possible. The connection is then rejected for security reasons to protect computers and networks.
This means that no updates are possible.

Das notwendige Root-Zertifikat erhalten Sie direkt bei der Zertifikatsstelle Certum oder über ein weiteres Windows 7-Update.
The previous version of SHA-2 will no longer be supported by Microsoft in the future. Windows users with older operating system versions (Windows 7 SP1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 SP2) may have to install a Windows update from SHA-1 to SHA-2 now.
