UTM Shutdown

Access: UTM-IP:Port or UTM-URL:Port
Port as configured at Network / Appliance Settings / Webserver
Default-Port: 11115
i.e.: https://utm.ttt-point.de:11115

Halt System

The UTM should never be de-energized during operation (e.g. pulling the plug)
This can lead to data loss and errors!
Switching off should only be done in one of the following three ways!

Via Admin Interface

Halt System With this button, you can shut down the UTM via the web interface.
Shutdown is also possible with the corresponding SPCLI command.

After clicking on Halt System , a separate window opens with a security prompt.
Yes The UTM will be Powered off.
No The UTM will not be Powered off.
The UTM terminal then displays the message System shutdown in progress. All operations will terminate shortly. is displayed

Via CLI

Via hardware button

The UTM can also be shut down using the hardware button. This is usually located on the back (see figure for RC200) and on the front of the Securepoint Black Dwarf G5 (see figure for Black Dwarf G5).

This button must be pressed once briefly to shut down.

After shutting down, the UTM can also be restarted using this button.

From the RC300 onwards, there are rocker switches on the back (see figure for RC300), these also lead to a correct shutdown or start of the UTM.
