General
The log menu provides detailed information about operations on the UTM.
The menu opens a separate browser window on which the log messages are displayed.
By default, the packet filter messages are displayed here.

| Highlight text: | On | Sorts and colors the text to make the entries appear visually clearer |   |

Filter messages | |||
| The log messages are displayed filtered by pre-set categories. The displayed category can be changed in the drop-down menu to the right side of the settings. | |||
| All Alerting Center messages | Alerting center messages can be extensively filtered by service, notification type, time period and individual criteria |  | |
| All application and kernel messages | Shows messages of the services (e.g. virus scanner) and the kernel | ||
| All audit messages | Shows e.g. changes to the configuration via the admin interface or CLI | ||
| All authentication messages | Displays all authentication messages (user interface, SSH, VPN etc.) | ||
| All Cloud messages | Displays all messages about cloud services of the UTM | ||

Displays blocked and accepted packets according to port filter settings; these messages can be further filtered using filter rules and filter groups .  | ||

| With a click on the button the messages can be downloaded. In order to start the download, the following dialog box must be confirmed. |  | ||
